Renault Arkana is a Coupe SUV we have already talked about recently. A model originally created for the Russian market and which has been updated to be sold in Europe. It will be offered in the Full Hybrid version with the 140 HP E-TECH Hybrid engine (103 kW) and with the 1.3 TCe 140 and 160 units characterized by the presence of a 12 Volt Mild Hybrid system.
The new Renault Captur, yes proposed in Plug-in version (Here our test), will also be available with the 140 PS (103 kW) Full Hybrid E-TECH Hybrid unit. In this case too, the 1.3 TCe engines will have the 12 Volt Mild Hybrid system. New Renault Captur now also proposes an RS Line version, with specific badges, redesigned front and rear bumpers and exclusive alloy wheels.
As for the Megane, the E-TECH Plug-in Hybrid motorization also arrives on the sedan version. The powertrain delivers 160 hp (118 kW) and has a battery with a capacity of 9.8 kWh for a distance of up to 50 km in electric-only mode according to the WLTP cycle (GUIDE).
The new hybrid cars are part of Renault’s grand plan zero CO2 emissions by 2050 in Europe. By 2022, all new models marketed will have an electric or electrified version on a market in which, in 5 years, 50% of the vehicles sold will be driven in electric or hybrid mode.
