The well-known Lombard actor, Renato Pozzetto, suffered a very heavy bereavement that totally upset his life
The turning point in the actor’s artistic career came when he met Carlo Ponzoni, in the period in which he studied in the technical institute “Carlo Cattaneo”. The couple, in fact, gave birth to the historic comic duo called “Cochi and Renato”.
Together they performed in the main Milanese cabaret clubs, gradually conquering an ever-growing notoriety, until their definitive consecration resulted in the arrival on the small screen, where they have begun to participate in some television broadcasts.
The two then started writing songs, also thanks to the collaboration with Enzo Jannacci. Among the various the famous piece stands out “And life, life”. Subsequently, however, Pozzetto decided to continue his solo career, still enjoying great success. In 1974 he made his debut on the big screen, taking part in the shooting of the film directed by the Italian screenwriter and director Flavio Mogherini entitled “To love Ophelia”.

The excruciating pain of Renato Pozzetto
Even today, the Milan-born actor continues to be more active than ever when it comes to his film career. Just this year he starred in a Pupi Avati film called “She still talks to me”, in which he played the character of “Giuseppe ‘Nino’ Sgarbi”.
Some time ago instead, Renato was a guest of Barbara D’Urso, where he retraced the highlights of his career but, above all, recalled his late wife, which has now disappeared for over a decade.
The woman was called Brunella Gluber, with whom he married in 1967. Two children were born from their love, Giacomo and Francesca. Unfortunately, however, the death of his wife tore the heart of Pozzetto: “When my wife died I was in theater and I moved on. This helped me, but the misfortunes remain and the memories are so many. I decided to stay with my grandchildren and thus soothe the pain “.
The causes of his wife’s demise are not well known, although there has been talk of something like a stroke or heart attack, perhaps also caused by the fact that the woman has always smoked, as confirmed by the famous actor.
