On August 18, the government of the Republic of Dagestan signed a resolution according to which the Olympic Champion Yelena Isinbayeva Stadium was renamed the Trud Stadium – the stadium had this name from its foundation in 1960 until 2017.
In 2023, the stadium was reconstructed. A new multimedia scoreboard was installed at the arena, a new artificial turf was laid, and the stands were renovated. The capacity of the stadium is about 5.6 thousand spectators. This season of the First League Dynamo Makhachkala plays its home matches at the stadium.
