Renamed Aux vignes, since 2022, the wine and gastronomy fair offers 140 producers and artisans at Chartrexpo, in Chartres, from Friday and until Sunday October 22, 2023.
“We are offering a mini tour of France of the regions, brought together in a single place during a single weekend,” explains Muriel Quere, communications manager for the event.
Already 3,000 people had pushed through the door of the show on Friday evening during this 26th edition. “We welcomed 12,000 visitors, in 2022, we hope to do better this year.”

How to taste a grand cru?
Hold the glass well.” You must hold your wine glass well. By the stem between your two fingers.”
The nose of the wine: “You have to look at the nose of the wine, that is to say its perfume, its notes, by gently rotating the glass. Then, you look at its leg, or its thigh, which we call also the tears, the transparent liquid which settles on the walls. If the wine is cloudy, it cannot be kept for several years.”
In the mouth: “Then we roll it in the mouth, we chew it. This is the taste test. It is in the second sip that we appreciate all the tastes of the wine. We suck in a little air and we blow through the nose, to feel the chewiness, the length in the mouth. The more it remains in the mouth, the longer it will keep.”
