JakPro’s board has undergone a major overhaul. Director of JakPro Widi Amanasto and four other directors were replaced.
“The process of appointing and dismissing the directors and commissioners of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law,” BPBUMD Acting Chief Fitri Rahadiani said on Monday (11/28/2022). a written statement.
It was explained that the company’s shareholders agreed and agreed to ratify the decision of shareholders outside of GMS to replace JakPro’s board members and commissioners.
“The GMS has agreed to honorably discharge the following names from the position of Director of the Society, with the highest appreciation for their contributions to the Society, namely: Widi Amanasto, Gunung Kartiko, Leonardus W Wassono Mihardjo, Muhammad Taufiqurrachman, Iwan Takwin (now the CEO) Fitri said.
Profile of Widi Amanasto
Widi Amanasto was appointed Chief Executive Officer of JakPro in August 2021. At that time, Widi replaced Dwi Wahyu Daryoto.
Previously, Widi was Business Director of PT Telkom Property (2019). Widi was also Deputy Principal Director of PT Citra Sari Makmur (2015-2018). Widi received his Bachelor of Industrial Technology from Trisakti University in 1989; master data communication engineering at Lincoln University, England, in 1998; and Doctor of Economics from Trisakti University in 2018.
As director of JakPro, Widi is responsible for the Jakarta Formula E event to be held in June 2022. He is the managing director of the Jakarta E-Prix. JakPro itself has been appointed organizer of Formula E Jakarta in Ancol.
Reasons for JakPro board reshuffle
BPBUMD interim head Fitri Rahadiani said the JakPro board reshuffle was due to considerations of updating the company’s organizational structure in order to improve JakPro in addressing business challenges. He also specifies that the replacement was decided through a GMS Circular (Resolutions of Shareholders Outside GMS) as provided for by art. 91 of Law 40 of 2007 regarding Limited Liability Companies.
“The process of appointing and dismissing the directors and commissioners of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) was carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law,” Fitri said.
Fitri also hopes that with this replacement, JakPro’s strategic development will proceed quickly. Also, in line with corporate governance.
“PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) with this management renewal, hopefully the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners will strive to accelerate the development of strategic projects in accordance with good corporate governance,” he added.
