Jakarta –
Viral video tag of church aid on a relief tent delivered to District earthquake victims Cianjur, West Java, has removed a number of people. Regent Cianjur Herman Suherman spoke about it.
Reported detikjabarOn Saturday (11/26/2022), Herman said the removal shouldn’t have been done. This is because perhaps the person providing assistance has no particular purpose other than humanity.
However, Herman hopes that in the humanitarian movement, donors don’t highlight a particular label of their group. He called on all parties to focus on disaster management and recovery.
“Removing it is wrong, but highlighting a label is also not right. We both understand each other, we sincerely help each other without a label in care. I hope this does not happen again and we focus on disaster management until the next recovery,” he said.
You know, in the viral video, you can see a row of blue tents with paper writing attached to the roof of the tent. A man’s voice was also heard saying that the tents were in remote areas Cianjur.
Later, the video shows a number of people dismantling the “Action Team for the Indonesian Evangelical Reformed Church” sign that was attached to the roof of the tent. The curtains remained standing.
