The Cairo Governorate has completed the removal of first degree properties that conflict with the expansion of Hussein Kamel Selim Street in the Almaza area.
The rehabilitation and widening of this road is expected to help create a new traffic artery in the area, which represents the connection between several important areas and the elimination of the traffic densities present there.
Dr Ibrahim Saber, Cairo’s deputy governor for the eastern region, said Hussein Kamel Selim Street is of great importance.
The Eastern Region MP added to Masrawy that the road connects Al-Thawra Street – the extension of Suez Road – and 3 Eastern Region neighborhoods, including: Heliopolis, Nozha and Nasr City.
Payment of legal compensation to street residents was completed regularly, under the direction of Major General Khaled Abdel-Aal, Governor of Cairo.
