Rafael Alun Trisambodo removed from his position at the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) of the Ministry of Finance. Deputy Minister of Finance (Wamenkeu), Suahasil Nazara, said the removal was carried out for inspection.
“Regarding the status of the RAT brother in question as of yesterday we were removed from his position, still ASN, which means still bound by all codes of ethics, all disciplines, all ASN administrative rules,” said Suahasil at the Ministry of Finance’s DGT Headquarters, South Jakarta, Friday ( 24/2/2023).
Suahasil explained that Rafael’s removal was for examination. He hopes this removal can facilitate the course of the examination.
“The removal was carried out because we will carry out an inspection and this is to facilitate inspection efforts,” he said.
Previously, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani requested that Rafael Alun Trisambodo be removed from his position. Rafael’s dismissal followed the abuse of his son Mario Dandy Satrio against Cristalino David Ozora alias David.
“In order for the Ministry of Finance to be able to carry out an inspection, starting today, RAT, I ask to be removed from his duties and position,” Sri Mulyani said at a press conference, Friday (24/2/2023).
Sri Mulyani said the basis for the dismissal was Article 31 paragraph 1 PP 94 of 2001 concerning civil servant discipline. Sri Mulyani also asked that the entire examination process be carried out in detail to decide on Rafael’s sentence.
“I ask that the entire examination process be carried out in detail and thoroughly so that we can then determine the level of disciplinary punishment that we can determine,” he explained.
