55.4% of all company employees used the internet for work purposes, which is 2.9 percentage points more than a year ago.

Fixed Internet was used by 77.1% of all companies, 99% in large ones, 88.3% in medium ones and 74.5% in small ones.

88.1% of all companies provided employees with portable devices capable of accessing the mobile Internet. In large companies, this indicator was relatively higher.

77.6% of all companies provided some employees with remote access to email, documents or business software. And even in this case, almost all large companies (number of employees over 250) have provided such an opportunity.

This year, 38.6% of all companies hold remote meetings over the Internet. 40.9% of companies, on the other hand, developed guidelines to promote remote meetings rather than business travel. Large companies – 90.3%, medium – 60.8%, small – 36.1% think more about this opportunity.

One of the indicators that characterize the development of e-commerce is the share of companies that sell goods or services on the Internet or other computer networks. In 2021, compared to 2020, this indicator increased by 0.9 percentage points, reaching 18%. The greatest increase – of 5.7 percentage points – was recorded in the group of medium-sized enterprises, where the indicator reached 26.5%. In the small business group the changes were minimal – an increase of 0.2 percentage points, but in the large business group the sale of goods or services on the Internet decreased by 1.6 percentage points.
