Less than a month ago, Discovery announced that it was repositioning itself in Europe. A European “House of Content” is to be created, in the course of which Guido Bolten, until then Vice President Content & Programming at Discovery in Germany, and Axel Stegmaier, Director Production & Development, also left the company. Discovery has now confirmed these departures with a few weeks’ delay – and announced two more.

Bichlmeir had worked for the group for three and a half years, Immisch even left Discovery after 15 years. Immisch, who was most recently responsible as a member of the management team for B2C and B2B marketing, OnAir promotion as well as for communication and PR, will take on several people. In the future, Markus Spangler, as VP Ad Sales, will head the company’s B2B marketing in addition to the sales business. With immediate effect, Daniela Allgayer-Koreimann is responsible for communication work as Director Communications & PR GSA & BNLX; she was previously Senior Manager Communications & PR for the German-speaking market.
