Remnants of Ophelia Bring Rain and Flooding to Our Area: Extended Forecast

The remnants of Ophelia continue to bring light to moderate rain to our area prompting some flood warnings Monday morning with the possibility of some localized flooding continuing throughout the day.

Northeast winds will keep temperatures cooler with highs in the 50s and 60s all day. The northeasterly flow will also continue to accumulate water on our coasts with coastal flood warnings in effect for the Monday afternoon and evening high tide cycles.

The rain will taper off Tuesday afternoon and the sun will return Wednesday.

Although the rain will disappear, northeasterly winds will continue through the end of this week keeping our temperatures below average. We may also need to break out the umbrellas on Friday as we approach the start of the weekend with more rain on the way.
