BODEGRAVEN – Ernst and Bobbie are on holiday, but everything immediately goes wrong. On the way to the campsite they got lost in the woods and Bobbie also forgot to take their tent. REEUWIJK-BRUG – The procession starts at 7:30 PM at De Ark Church Center and ends at the war memorial on Thorbeckelaan, with the two minutes of silence at 8:00 PM.

BODEGRAVEN – Following Remembrance Day, the performance ‘Who is not gone is seen’ takes place in the Evertshuis, written by the Jewish writer Ida Vos. Bert is Ida’s son and, together with the musicians of The Klezmer Society, he tells the war story of his Jewish family and his own story as a child of Jewish people in hiding during the Second World War. Fortunately, there is also a lot of beautiful and cheerful music, which makes the story feel a lot lighter.” The performance starts at 8:45 PM and admission is free. May 4 commemoration in Nieuwerbrug
NIEUWERBRUG – On May 4, commemoration of the dead will take place on the square in front of the Wierickehuis. There will be a devotional from 7:50 PM. This is followed by two minutes of silence and the signal Taptoe, poems by school children and the release of pigeons as a symbol of peace. Afterwards there is coffee or tea.
Sloop rowing clinic
REEUWIJK-BRUG – There will be a clinic every hour on the hour on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to get acquainted with boat rowing. You enter the lake under the guidance of experienced rowers. Register before May 2 via [email protected] and indicate on what hour you want to sail.
Songs of Praise
BODEGRAVEN – Sunday evening, May 5, there will be Songs of Praise again in the Luther Church on Noordstraat. Community singing of Christian songs in different music styles, from Johan de Heer to Huub Oosterhuis and songs by Sela and Taizé. The presentation and guidance is in the hands of the Bodegraaf musician Gijsbert Kok. Starts at 7 p.m.
F1 Café | GP MIAMI
BODEGRAVEN – On Sunday, May 5, the F1 Café will take place in De Zon where you can watch the race in Miami. It’s from 9:30 PM to 11:55 PM. Entrance is free.
