Zhou Wenyao, former chairman of Cyberport and former chief executive of Hong Kong Stock Exchange, died at the age of 76.
Zhou Wenyao was the chief executive officer of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange from November 1991 to January 1997. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company Limited for 2 years. He then returned to the merged Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2003 as chief executive. Zhou Jiaoyao was appointed as the chairman of Cyberport by the government in 2010.
