He was part of the troupe of the National Musical Theater “Stefan Makedonski” since 2000. After graduation, he worked at the “Nikola Vaptsarov” Drama Theater in Blagoevgrad. In 1973, the great actor Stoycho Mazgalov invited the ardent brunette to the capital theater “Tear and Laughter”, with whose troupe Gerasimov created dozens of impressive stage images. He is also a famous reciter of poems by Hristo Botev, Ivan Vazov, Peyo Yavorov.
Gerasimov is the winner of numerous awards, including the “Golden Age” – seal of Tsar Simeon the Great (2017), the Order of “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” – necklace, for his particularly significant merits for the development of culture and art (2008), etc.
