Nabil El-Desouki was born in Cairo Governorate on this day in January 1923. Nabil El-Desouki graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts.

The artist, Nabil El-Desouki, began his artistic career on the national stage, before moving to television, to participate in the series “The Victim” in 1964, and to become an active element in most drama series.

His dramatic career is full of unforgettable characters, as he is “Ihsan”, the defeated husband in Osama Anwar Okasha’s masterpiece “Witness and Tears”, and “Khawaja Saruf”, who knows the secrets of the Jews in the fifties, and the lawyer “Anis”, who confronts the tricks of Faddah Al-Maadawi in the masterpiece “The White Flag”.

The artist Nabil El-Desouki married a woman outside the artistic community, who had a great love story together until his death in 1995. Nabil El-Desouki gave birth to a son and a girl (Hisham and Noha) and kept his personal life away from the noise of the media.
