Abdel Ghafour passed away from our world yesterday evening, Sunday, at the age of 81, following a traffic accident he was involved in with his wife on the Egypt-Alexandria Desert Road. He died and his wife survived.
The funeral of the late artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour was held yesterday afternoon, Monday, from the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed, in the presence of a large number of artists who were keen to participate in the funeral and console the daughter of the late artist, Reham Abdel Ghafour, who has been experiencing great shock since learning of the news of his death yesterday, Sunday. Among the most prominent stars who participated in the funeral were Ahmed Al-Sakka, Ahmed Helmy, Mustafa Qamar, Donia Samir Ghanem and her husband, the journalist Rami Radwan, Ahmed Al-Saadani, Hanan Mutawa, Mohamed Riad, and Dina El-Sherbiny.

The artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour passed away before completing filming of his latest artistic work, “Black Point,” with Ahmed Fahmy and Nahed El Sebaei, which is being filmed in the Lebanese capital, Beirut. He finished filming 80% of the events of his role in the work, and 20% remains for him, including important scenes, and the makers of the series began. In developing perceptions and suggestions about treating the remaining scenes of the late artist in the work.
