American rock and roll icon Tina Turner has passed away at the age of 83. In a final farewell to the music legend, Turner’s fans gathered today outside her home overlooking Lake Zurich in Switzerland, which she has made home for nearly three decades. Her humble beginnings in the US state of Tennessee and a bitter marriage experience that lasted sixteen years with her singing partner, did not deter Turner from achieving international stardom and fame.
