Today, exactly thirteen years have passed since the sad death of singer Petr Muk, who choked on his own vomit. As the Stars24 website writes, Muk had alcohol in his blood and was therefore unable to call for help. His death was quick but painful. He left behind three daughters.
Singer and musician Petr Muk was born in Český Krumlov. He got into music when he was about his age fifteen years old, played and sang with various punk and underground bands. However, he graduated from a technical school and for a while made a living as road dispatcher.
Peter Muk’s career
He gained his first great musical experience with by the Ocean band, whose leading figure he was for eight years. For the next four years he was in to the Shalom groupwhich he founded together with Petr Kučera and Petr Hons. After that, he switched to a solo track.
In 1997, he released his first solo album and often appeared in musicals. His songs Shadow of cathedrals, Good evening Miss Paris, Rachel whether You dance alone became hits. “He was going through difficult situations that are quite difficult for a person who does not suffer from a diagnosis of bipolar affective disorder to understand,” musician Luděk Fiala described Muk’s difficult moments. Today, Muk’s youngest daughter Noemi is a lovely young lady who is following in her father’s footsteps. He is actively engaged in dancing and singing. “I used to be shy. It only broke me recently when I started going to singing lessons. I combined my talent for music and dance and started going to musical singing lessons. I enjoy what I do. I think dad sees me and is happy,” confided in Noemi v of Showtime.
Today, Noemi thinks about her dad most often when she is alone. “People think I was tiny and couldn’t experience anything with him, but I remember a lot and I have a lot of memories of him. I remember when we were chasing each other around the living room or at the park. Dad was kind, wise and fun to be with. We laughed a lot. He was a wonderful person,” she recalled.
