NITRA – Death finds some of us too early and it is always a great sadness when a person leaves us who had a relatively long life ahead of him. During the Easter holidays, the Slovak sports scene was hit by sad news when Ján Hubáček, who mainly devoted himself to American football, but also achieved success in lacrosse, left it unexpectedly. His friends cannot believe this sad news.
Ján Hubáček, who was born in 1983, left us at the age of only 40 during the Easter holidays on April 8, 2023. He was an athlete in body and soul and during his life he was involved in several sports. In 2018, he was a member of the Slovak lacrosse team at the World Championship, which was held in Israel, the holy land, in the city of Netanya.
But Ján Hubáček was a lover of American football in particular and was active in the clubs Nitra Knights, ST. Nicolaus Monarchs, TRNAVA BULLDOGS and also wore the jersey of the national team.
His departure for eternity was unexpected. Some of his acquaintances cannot believe it. As, for example, commenter Patrik: “Janko, that’s probably not true. I still can’t believe it. My sincere condolences to the family.” Evita also left touching last words for him on the social network: “Johnny, rest in peace. You were a great person. You will be greatly missed here!”
