“The artist Joseph Iosifovich Koshelevich died at the 75th year of his life,” reported on the official website of the theater. Before that, he worked for 16 years on the stage of the Russian Drama Theater named after Samad Vurgun in Baku, Azerbaijan.
However, Joseph Iosifovich received great popularity and recognition thanks to his roles in the series “Streets of Broken Lanterns.” He played the role of commercial director Oleg Nikolaevich Nikolsky in the first two seasons of the series (1997-1998).
