“It is with great sadness that we announce that today our outstanding master, People’s Artist of Russia Igor Nikolaevich Yasulovich passed away,” the message says without specifying the cause of death.
Igor Nikolaevich was born on September 24, 1941 in the village of Reinsfeld, Kuibyshev (now Samara) region. He graduated from the acting and directing faculties of VGIK. Since 1962 – actor of the Experimental Theater-Studio of Pantomime “Ectemime“. Staged pantomimes for the play Petra Fomenko “King Matt I”, was an assistant in plastic when creating Maya Plisetskaya the ballet “The Seagull” in Bolshoi Theater. From 1964 to 1993 he was in the troupe Theater-studio of a film actorsince 1993 – actor Moscow Youth Theater. For a short period he taught at VGIK and at the circus school, since 1992 he worked at the Faculty of Musical Theater of the Russian Academy of Theater Arts (GITIS) on the course Alexander Titel.
