When the professional inspector wanted to revoke Edmund Schönenberger’s license to practice law in 1999 (not for the first time), he insisted on a public hearing and began his plea in front of a full audience by quoting the heretic Giordano Bruno: “You may announce the verdict with greater fear than I do take it!”
