It is with great sadness that I share the sad news that our colleague and friend, Dr. Petar Dimkov, died yesterday. This was announced by ophthalmologist Prof. Alexander Oscar, head of the Clinic for Eye Diseases at Alexandrovska Hospital, on his Facebook profile.
And adds:
Dr. Petar Atanasov Dimkov was born in Sofia in 1958.
He graduated from Medicine in Kiev, Ukraine in 1985. He specialized in Eye Diseases at the UMBAL “Alexandrovsk” since 1986, where he worked until now.
We will remember Dr. Dimkov as a good and honorable person, doctor and teacher.
On behalf of all colleagues from the clinic and the Department of Ophthalmology, I offer my sincere condolences to the family and relatives of Dr. Dimkov.
Rest in peace, Dr. Dimkov!
The funeral will take place on 14.06.2023 (Wednesday) at 12:00 in the Church of Saint Sophia.
The irisologist is the grandson of the healer Petar Dimkov and the son of the famous artist Lili Dimkova.
