Remembering Denitsa Takeva: A Tribute to a Beloved Journalist and Egyptologist

The father of the deceased Denitsa Takeva – the long-time journalist from BNT Ivan Takev, grieved for her in an emotional post on his Facebook profile:

“It has been 40 painful days without our Daily Star! This child was caressed by God to shine with his radiance and presence! Perhaps that is why God took her so quickly to Himself! Wherever she entered, everything around her shone! It is not by chance that they say, that the name predestined the man.! A being who sought love and a being who generously gave love! A being who was born to be a leader, who did not stop at any difficulties and with inexhaustible optimism overcame them. A being devoted to spirituality and science! Such was mine, our Denny. According to esotericists, on the 40th day the material life force of the Soul disintegrates, it is freed from the etheric sheath and becomes a small luminous point. The size of the point depends on the spiritual development of the person. The more developed in spiritual plane a person is, the greater his light But this luminous point is alive.

The soul inhabits another space called the Astral. The soul, in the form of a point of light, has its own senses and reason. I believe what her Egyptian friend Mohammed said that the body may depart but the soul remains forever! I’m not an esoteric, but I believe that our little star will shine in the sky! Gray bright in the sky our little star. Your indomitable spirit and intellect will always be with us. We love you endlessly and will carry you in our hearts!”.

In August, at the age of 40, the chairwoman of the Bulgarian Egyptological Society, Denitsa Takeva, died.

For years, she has supported the development and popularization of Egyptology in our country and promoted relations between Sofia and Cairo.
