Remembering Ahmed Johar: Kuwaiti Heritage Artist Passes Away at 65 in the UK

The distinguished Kuwaiti artist, Ahmed Johar, died today, Thursday, after a struggle with illness in the United Kingdom, at the age of 65.

Ahmed Gohar was famous for the heritage works that represented Kuwait in the past. He is the owner of Al-Abraq Artistic Productions.

The essence of his artistic career began in 1982 in simple roles, and he became famous in the nineties, and his love for heritage works prompted him to enter the field of production, although he was still at the beginning of his career, and the first work he produced in 1993 was the series “Tash Warsh”.

In 1998, Jawhar entered the field of writing and writing in the series “Tair Al-Khair”, then he entered the field of directing in the series “Al-Adab” and “Genie and Ataba”, but he was unable to continue due to the many pressures.
