Prime Minister Boyko Borissov is on tour again to check how road sections in the country are being repaired. This time he is on the Trakia highway to see how the section around Chirpan is being reconstructed. He is accompanied by Deputy Minister of Regional Development Nikolay Nankov.
“Saturday, Sunday. Overtime. It’s going wonderfully,” he said.
Borissov talks to a young worker who said he liked it and chose his job because it gives him the pleasure of doing something that remains.
“If we had orders for a hero of labor now, you would have one now. I’m glad that everything is new – banquets, guardrails, the asphalt has been checked,” the example said, and the worker told him that he was signing for the quality of the repairs and thanks him for being paid regularly, including overtime, and so they work smoothly on weekends.
Then Borisov talked to another young worker, 23 years old from Plovdiv, who drives an excavator and is a driver of construction machinery. He noted that the new section of the Trakia highway will be the best to drive.
Borissov also announced the big news that in a week the route will be ready and the highway will be fully open for the spring season. “A lot of work was rejected, they dug all the way down and everything was done anew to ensure that it is of good quality. The guardrails are also new, everything is new,” Borissov said.
The worker revealed to the prime minister that the road is “from good to better”. The employee was the operator of a heavy machine that cleans the asphalt on the road. However, he told the prime minister that his dream is to drive a truck.
“Remember this boy. He loves his truck so much that when he gets a book, he is given it. He wants development,” the prime minister replied.
“Here’s our army of excavators, valation – no Saturday, no Sunday. These are real heroes,” he said. And the trucks one by one, but when they smile – it means that they are paid regularly, for me this is the most important thing, “Borissov added for the workers.
Next week we will release it and enter Stara Zagora, he said.
