JAKARTA – The phenomenon of a supermoon will occur in the near future. This supermoon phenomenon is accompanied by a full moon. This supermoon will be the fourth and last supermoon this year.
Reporting from the Live Science website, this supermoon is dubbed the ‘Moon Sturgeon’, because of its appearance in August. This supermoon will reach its peak on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 21:36 EDT or Friday, August 12, 2022 at 08:36 WIB.

In addition, signs of the appearance of a supermoon are starting to appear. It is said that the moon will appear brighter and fuller on Wednesday and Friday nights (August 10 and August 12, 2022).
The appearance of the supermonn Sturgeon was caused because at that time the Earth was at its closest point to the Moon or known as perigee.

The Sturgeon Moon will appear at 90 percent perigee and make it a supermoon.
