Developers from the Finnish studio Remedy they announced, that Alan Wake II will be released later. But it will only be slightly delayed. Instead of October 17th, it will be released on October 27th. The authors make no secret of the fact that October is full of interesting games and hope that this way they will probably avoid the biggest overpressure or competition. They say they want to give players enough space to enjoy their favorite titles. Remedy says they can’t wait to show us more next week, an obvious nod to Gamescom. And of course the team thanked the fans for their patience.
What kind of competition are we talking about here? Just to illustrate, games such as Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Detective Pikachu Returns, Forza Motorsport, Lords of the Fallen, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Cities: Skylines II, Alone in the Dark and many more. Of course, these are not horror films, but they are nevertheless big titles that can be more difficult to stand out next to. But Alan Wake will definitely make it in the end.
