Alan Wake It will be 12 years since its first release this week, and to celebrate, Remedy has shared a video that is simply not to be missed for any fan of the game. In addition to telling stories about the game’s past, the video also shares news about the sequel and confirms the remaster port of Alan Wake for the Nintendo Switch.
The video is starring Sam Lake, the boss of Remedy and the face of the first Max Payne, accompanied by Ilkka Villi, the actor who makes the appearance of Alan Wake and Matthew Porretta, the voice of the character.
The interview begins with confirmation of the launch of the first Alan Wake on Nintendo’s handheld, but without a release date or window. It’s just a very low-key development build.
Then we have stories and anecdotes about the development of games, both the original and its sequel. Speaking of the process of creating Alan Wake 2new concept images of the game are released, which reaffirm how it will have a greater emphasis on horror:

Another important information brought in the video is that Alan Wake It will become a TV series. The rights were bought for a production by AMC, the same responsible for the series of The Walking Dead.
Sam Lake concludes the video warning that there will be no news from Alan Wake 2 in June (summer in USA). He claims that the game’s development is going very well, and that much of it is already playable, and so he wants to keep that team focus on creating the game, avoiding distractions with events and disclosures for now.
