El Campello has traveled to Phoenix, the capital of Arizona, in the USA, hand in hand with our local writer Remedios Climent and the great welcome that his “Captive Blackberry” is harvesting beyond our territory. Crossing borders.
And it is for this reason that the council of Women and Equalitydirected by Mercé Pairó (Cs), wanted to echo the interview that the well-known interviewer Marinela Gómez de Ell, very recently, from the American radio station “Connect with the News”made our local writer, taking an interest in and valuing her work, especially her “Mora Cautiva”, the first of the ten books that make up the “Claro de Luna” collection.
“I am proud that my ten stories cross borders as a seagull flies, carrying my town, El Campello, as a flag. Alicante is my inspiring muse and I keep in my blood notebook each and every one of the support received throughout my twenty-five years dedicated to my job as a worker of letters and other arts, such as working for the culture of my people, ”said the writer.
Thus, during the minutes dedicated to the arts and letters of the radio space, Remedios Climent recounted her beginnings in the world of letters “that is born with her” and the recent presentations of her “Mora Cautiva”, in Granada, as well as his literary tour in morocco with special affection and thanks to the artists Dora Crespo and Alfredo Campello, illustrators of his work.
In addition, a special mention to his book “La Reina Canelobre”, whose inspiration is born in the bowels of the nearby and well-known, “Cuevas del Canelobre”, one of the tourist attractions not only of Busot, but of the entire province of Alicante , under whose framework a cultural and educational project is being developed that will soon see the light.
