Amsterdam – The small painting is for a moment Abraham and the angels van Rembrandt returned to the place where it was made exactly 374 years earlier: in the studio of the Dutch master on the Jodenbreestraat in Amsterdam, the current museum Het Rembrandthuis. “Very special”, says Baukje Coenen, Old Masters specialist at Sotheby’s. “It’s like an old friend is coming by again.”
