Remastered version of Rome: Total War will be released soon

Rome: Total War was developed by the British Creative Assembly almost 20 years ago and released on PC in 2004, only followed six years later by a Mac version developed by Feral Interactive.

Now Feral, together with Creative Assembly and publisher Sega, has developed a modern remaster version of the game as released April 29 on Windows, Mac and Linux. To follow the game series’ modern name format, the name has been reshuffled and will now be Total War: Rome Remastered.

The game’s graphics have been updated on all levels, from the world map to battles, with support for 4k resolution and a lot of new special effects. But the developers have also added better camera controls and other tools that make the gameplay easier than when it went.

Another big news is that the game will be the first in the entire Total War series to have multiplayer between the platforms, which will above all please Mac and Linux users who otherwise usually have a hard time finding opponents.
