Have you ever loved the setlist of a live concert so much that you wish you could easily listen to it again and again? Or did you miss a concert of your favorite artist but still want to listen to every song? If yes, the application web Setify worth the detour.
I’ve been to 311 concert once, and the band played an unreleased song that I had never heard before. With Setify, I was able to find the song and add it to my Spotify playlist. It’s quite incredible.
Essentially, Setify will allow you to search for gigs by artist, city, or date around the world, then display the full list for you to view. With just one click, you can turn that whole list of sets into a playlist on your Spotify, and it even works with Apple Music.
Obviously, the web app won’t have every show or every artist, but from my first impressions, it has an incredible amount of shows and catalogs. Also, if Setify can’t find one of the songs in the event, it will tell you that it was a single cover (like when Tool sang Dancing Queen by Abba here in Las Vegas) or otherwise unavailable in the Spotify library.
When the band Tool came to Las Vegas earlier this year, I had good seats but unfortunately I couldn’t attend. Now I can relive the whole concert on Spotify.
Keep in mind that it may not be able to find all live events, and if you are looking for a niche group, results may be limited. Still, any hardcore music fan will love this nifty little Spotify web app.
While we’re talking about Spotify, check out this other web app that turns your Spotify playlist into a music festival poster of your dreams.
