The last updates may not be supported on some older devices. As a result, the messenger will stop working on some cell phones, as a way to guarantee the efficiency and security needed in the application.
In summary, cell phones with Android 4.1 or lower versions will no longer be compatible with the tool. Cell phone models where WhatsApp will not work in 2023
According to some websites specializing in the world’s largest messaging application, the messenger will stop working on at least 30 models of cell phones, all from different brands. The notice is to let owners know that they will only have the app until the end of February.
What will make the application stop working in models it is the outdated operating system. To check if your smartphone is included in the list, go to the mobile settings and click on “Systems”. If you have an update available, update it to avoid running out of WhatsApp next month.
