JawaPos.com – Xiaomi has announced the global launch of its newest user interface (UI), MIUI 14. This new version of the software was initially launched in China in December of the previous year.
The MIUI 14 update is expected to bring some optimizations and new features to Xiaomi devices. The company promises that the new software will provide greater fluidity, and a more intuitive and flexible experience for users.
In terms of optimization, Xiaomi highlights that the software will take up less storage space on the device, saving up to 7 GB. Xiaomi has also introduced some new features in the MIUI 14 update.
One of them is the ability to copy text from images, making it easier to extract information from photos. Another feature is increased security for the app, which will provide greater protection for users’ personal data.
Additionally, the company has promised greater software integration between various branded devices, such as phones and tablets. The MIUI 14 update will be released for 18 Xiaomi devices in the coming months. The company promises that the model will be updated in the first quarter of 2023.
Although the company didn’t mention a specific date for the update’s release, the hope is that they will be available by the end of March. In the presentation, Xiaomi also launched its newest flagship cellphone, the Xiaomi 13 family.
The new phone features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 5G connectivity. The Xiaomi 13 also offers an improved camera system, including a 108-megapixel main camera and a 32-megapixel front camera.
It should be noted that the company has not released the list of devices that will receive the MIUI 14 update beyond the initial 18 models. However, it is expected that other Xiaomi devices will also receive the update throughout this year.
