On the afternoon of August 16, the head of Larian Studios, Sven Winke, was talking about the fact that before the first big patch with a thousand fixes, which is being prepared for Baldur’s Gate III, another small hotfix will be released. His studio released on the evening of August 16 – patch 151 megabytes in size is already available on Steam and GOG.
Most of the fixes in the hotfix are somehow related to spoiler moments, so open it at your own peril and risk: a lot of it affects content from the second and third acts of the game. Along with this, the developers thanked the players for the huge peak online, which last weekend amounted to 875,343 people – more than during the first weekend.
Baldur’s Gate 3 was released on PC on August 3rd. In the future, an option to change the appearance may be added to the game. The PS5 version will release on September 6th, with preload starting August 31st.
