“EA Sports NHL 25” has been given a release date. Information about the features and the deluxe edition of the ice hockey game is also available.
EA Sports has announced the official launch date for „EA Sports NHL 25“ announced. The game will be released on October 4, 2024 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The last-gen consoles will miss out.
Thanks to the ICE-Q technology, more realism is expected. And there is also an innovation outside of the actual game: for the first time, three brothers – Quinn, Jack and Luke Hughes – can be seen together on the cover of an EA Sports game.
EA Sports promises numerous improvements
According to official information from EA Sports, the new ICE-Q system allows players to control the action on the ice more precisely through a logic-based animation system. The also new “Next-Gen Vision Control” control offers expanded options in both defense and attack, emphasizes the publisher.
In addition, the “Empowered AI” is intended to ensure an even more realistic implementation of authentic moves, which will further emphasize the pace of the game and the strategic elements.
In addition to gameplay improvements such as skill-based one-timers and the Grudge Match system that intensifies rivalry between teams, EA Sports NHL 25 features a revised structure for World of Chel (WOC) live events, according to EA Sports.
The game’s visual presentation benefits from the introduction of Sapien technology and the Frostbite engine. The franchise mode has also been revised, with EA Sports promising an optimized user experience through a new franchise hub. It should enable easy navigation and improved access to relevant information.
