Daily visits “in small groups” should be made possible again. Falling corona infection numbers and high vaccination rates in old people’s and nursing homes would enable further relaxation, according to media reports from Health Minister Wolfgang Mückstein’s office. At the moment there are still “final votes”.
Currently, four visits per week by a maximum of two people each are permitted in old people’s and nursing homes. There are exceptions, for example, in the context of palliative and hospice support. Visitors must show a negative corona test result and wear an FFP2 mask.
