relaxation; Hamas rejects the terms of Israel’s Doha agreement

Gaza: The Hamas leadership has refused to recognize the conditions put forward by Israel in the US-led Gaza ceasefire agreement. The debate was based on the recommendations announced by US President Joe Biden on May 31.

But Hamas did not accept the proposals put forward by Israel during the two-day talks. Hamas did not accept Israel’s conditions, such as the mandatory presence of military forces in Philadelphia, which crosses Egypt, and the right to detain some Palestinian prisoners.

The Hamas leadership has made it clear that they will not make any agreement with Israel without accepting its proposals, including a complete ceasefire.

“Hamas will not accept anything less than a complete cease-fire, the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, and access to those displaced,” the Hamas leadership said.

As the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza has dragged on for nearly ten months, international pressure has mounted for a ceasefire. Then, under the leadership of US President Joe Biden, negotiations for a cease-fire agreement Negotiations proceeded under the mediation of Egypt, Qatar and the US. But Hamas rejected the terms put forward by Israel in the debate.

Another round of talks to exchange Israeli hostages in Gaza and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli custody will begin in the Qatari capital, media reported.

The aim of the ceasefire talks is to implement it in three stages, including a ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the populated areas of Gaza, the entry of aid from international countries national and the release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons.

US Central Intelligence Agency Director William Burns and the heads of Israel’s foreign intelligence agency Mossad and the Shin Bet, the internal intelligence agency, are participating in the talks.

Hamas has said that any ceasefire deal in Gaza must include the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip.

The region’s health ministry said more than 40,000 Palestinians have been killed so far in Israel’s offensive in Gaza.

Gaza’s health ministry said 92,401 people were injured in the Israeli attack and more than 85 percent of the population had to flee their homes.

Israel’s war began on October 7 after Hamas attacked southern Israel, killing around 1,200 people.
