JawaPos.com – Last September 2020, Samsung released an economical variant of the Galaxy S20, namely the Fans Edition (FE) in the country. At that time, the Galaxy S20 FE which was present in Indonesia was powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 990 chip.
Now, almost a year later, Samsung has relaunched or re-released the new variant of the Galaxy S20 FE for the local flagship segment. This latest variant of the phone now carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip.
Samsung claims that other chipset variants in the Galaxy S20 FE this time can improve phone performance, especially in terms of graphics and visuals. Users of the Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S20 FE can also now experience the impressive image quality of the HDR10+ feature.
Head of Product Marketing IT and Mobile at Samsung Electronics Indonesia Selvia Gofar said, the features favored by consumers are still presented in the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S20 FE this time.
“Not different from the previous chip variant, the IP68 Water Resistant feature, 120 Hz Refresh Rate, Space Zoom camera, and attractive color options remain on the Snapdragon variant this time,” Selvia said in a written statement.
Even so, there are still slight differences between the Exynos chip variant and the Snapdragon on this Galaxy S20 FE. The difference is in the RAM and storage capacity.
