Relatives of Russian Soldiers Criticize Putin and Demand Demobilization – Channel “Путь домой” Movement

On November 12, the manifesto of the “Road Home” movement was published on the channel, calling for complete demobilization and setting the final deadline for mobilization – one year.

“We will only budge after our men are home safe. Not at all. We are not interested in rotation,” the appeal, published Monday, said.

Activists have also submitted applications to hold rallies, among others in Moscow, but the authorities have not given permission.

Only in Novosibirsk have the authorities agreed to hold the meeting in closed mode in the premises of the local Palace of Culture. Independent media were not allowed there.

The invitation published on Monday directly criticized Putin.

The promise made in February 2022 not to call up reservists was called “empty words”, the sunken submarine “Kursk” was mentioned and the fact that after half a year of war former prisoners are freed.

“The president has announced 2024 as the year of the family. It’s ironic, considering that wives cry without husbands, children grow up without fathers, but many have already become orphans,” the statement said.

“But the satanist man-eater, who committed a relapse after the first imprisonment, is released six months later, atoning for serial murders in a special military operation. Our president still has a sense of humor,” the authors of the statement say.

The vice-governors of the Russian regions have been ordered to closely monitor the activities of the mobilized relatives, the newspaper “Kommersant” reports.

The governors have been ordered to “at all costs” suppress external protests, according to a source in the administration of one region, “The Insider” reports.
