There was a major police operation in Jenfeld on Saturday afternoon. Ambulances were also deployed as a precaution because a relationship dispute had broken out between a man and a woman in an apartment.
As the police confirmed in response to MOPO’s inquiry, a domestic dispute was reported in an apartment on Raja-Ilinauk Street at around 1 p.m. Due to the description that physical violence had also taken place, several patrol cars arrived, as well as ambulances and an emergency doctor as a precaution. The man threatened the officers with a knife.
Man holds woman captive in apartment – SEK arrives
Nerve-racking hours followed, as the man is said to have held the woman captive in the apartment. Police officers tried to negotiate with the man for more than two hours, but to no avail. Finally, at around 3:30 p.m., the special forces were called in.
The special unit stormed the apartment. There they rescued a 36-year-old pregnant woman. She was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The man (26) was overpowered. According to the police, he was in a state of psychological distress and was taken to a medical officer.
