There is bad news from Cristiano Ronaldo. Still clubless, CR7 has reportedly broken his relationship with his own agent Jorge Mendes.
Reported by daily star, Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United parted ways at the end of last November. This was the consequence of Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan on TalkTV being considered an attack on the club.
Cristiano Ronaldo almost a month has passed without a club. CR7 is actually focused on wading through the 2022 World Cup and taking Portugal to the top group, unfortunately he stalled in the quarter-finals.
It is not clear where Ronaldo’s fate will go. There is no recent news that the big clubs want to sign the 37-year-old player. The fastest, a Saudi Arabian club is reportedly ready to bring in Ronaldo and promises exorbitant salaries.
Therefore, there are rumors that Cristiano Ronaldo crack to do with Jorge Mendes. Mendes has been Ronaldo’s agent since Ronaldo was 18!
Mendes is the best players’ agent in Portugal. The 56-year-old man was the best player and coaching agent in the world and won numerous awards including best agent 10 times at the Globe Soccer Awards.
Mendes has been a football agent since 1996 called GestiFute. Besides Ronaldo, some of the best Portuguese players he “raised” were Ruben Dias, Rafael Leao, Diogo Jota, Joao Cancelo, up to Fabio Viera. In addition to the Portuguese there are also Alisson and Fabinho (Brazil) and Darwin Nunez (Uruguay).
