JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Four factions of the DKI Jakarta Regional Representative Council (DPRD) decided to walk out or out of the room after throwing protests and criticisms on plenary meeting ratification of the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) on the responsibility for implementing the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (P2APBD).

The four factions are doing walk out These were the PAN Faction, the PSI Faction, the Nasdem Faction, and the Golkar Faction.

They rejected the report on the use of the 2019 budget from the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan and the ranks of the Regional Apparatus Work Structure (SKPD).

Basri Baco, Golkar faction member, did it walk out admitted that he was disappointed with Anies and his men for not carrying out the results of the recess delivered by the DPRD members.

After Baco, the Secretary of the PAN faction of the DKI DPRD, Oman Rahman Rakinda also expressed his disappointment with this plenary meeting and asked his faction’s permission to leave the meeting room.

“We PAN faction are disappointed with this forum. It can not happen again setting forum like this. For that, allow us the PAN Faction to leave this room, “said Oman.

Furthermore, the Secretary of the PSI DPRD DKI Jakarta Faction, Anthony Winza, also considered that DPRD members were not accommodated in giving their opinions at the plenary session.

So the PSI faction also stated that it rejected Anies’ report.

“PSI also rejects the accountability of the 2019 APBD,” said Anthony.

Previously, the plenary meeting for the ratification of the 2019 DKI P2APBD Raperda was marked by interruptions from members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

Initially, a member of the PAN faction DPRD DKI, Lukmanul Hakim asked for an interruption during a plenary session. The judge stated that the financial reports of 2019 APBD users submitted by the DKI Provincial Government were not detailed.

Not only the Judge, a member of the Jakarta DPRD PSI faction, August Hamanongan, also expressed his protest at the report.

He alluded to the alleged mark-up or budget inflation in the procurement of fire fighting robots (damkar).

August also said that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government did not submit complete data on the report and could not be held accountable for the 2019 APBD.

“We the PSI faction reject P2APBD. This is because the data submitted to us is incomplete. It is public money and must be guarded,” said August.
