With her theater company All brothers the news hits hard. “With a heart overflowing with sadness, but also with love and gratitude, we said goodbye to our mother of all mothers, our mater familias, our keuningess, Reinhilde, our Reinha”, they write in an email.

Colleague and girlfriend The Dottermans speaks of a “great personality”. “It is a huge loss for our theater world. What she means to Tutti Fratelli, what she means to a lot of actors among us. I think she is in a lot of hearts.”

Actor Ben Segers emphasizes what Decleir has meant to him. “Dear Reinhilde, you have helped me so much”, he posts on Instagram. “If you weren’t there, I wouldn’t be there. Thank you for everything, dear Reinhilde!”
