Since March 2023, the East Interdepartmental Roads Department (DIR Est), on behalf of the State, has been carrying out reinforcement work on the eastern end of the Beauregard viaduct at Thionville on the A31.
• Work under the structure: as a reminder, the work is taking place under the structure, without impeding traffic on the A31.
• Demolition of the water tower from Wednesday 14 June: the work requires the demolition of a disused water tower, located near the motorway, just before the Beauregard viaduct in the South – North direction. As of Wednesday, June 14, the demolition of the tank by nibbling will be visible from the highway and could distract motorists at this location.
For this reason and for everyone’s safety, the greatest vigilance around the viaduct is recommended.
