The corona pandemic was brutal for several Norwegian artists. Among them was artist Rein Alexander Hauge Korshamn (51). He lost all assignments, and eventually took a job at a funeral home.
Remember these MGP contestants?
But now the pandemic is apparently over, and Korshamn has been given a load of new assignments.
On 26 February, the stage was set for the new program “Secret duets” on TV 2, where Thomas Numme (53) and Regina “Myra” Tucker (28) are presenters, and Korshamm was one of the first participants.
– Got a lot of applause and laughter
During the broadcast, he revealed a story that made the whole audience laugh. He had to sing “O’ weekend night” to the sheriff at Gardermoen.
The singer tells Se og Hør that he was on his way to Italy for a concert, and had forgotten his passport. Therefore, he had to run down to the sheriff’s office to get an emergency passport.
Fear of losing the house
– I ran down to the sheriff’s office to get an emergency passport, and showed them my driver’s license, but they said it didn’t look like me. I therefore explained that I had to catch a concert in Italy, and had to get on the plane.
According to the artist, the Sheriff then asked if Korshamn could do anything more to prove that this was true.
– It’s possible they were joking with me, but I broke out in full song with “O’helga natt”. I then received great applause and laughter from the three other sheriffs and the queue in the small room next door.
Much on the agenda
Currently, Korshamn can also be seen in “Fangene på foret”. There he won, among other things, the one competition, and chose to donate the prize to the association for premature babies.
The “boundlessly in love” couple’s big day
– I have two premature twin girls, so it was really nice to be able to mention them on screen and make people aware of it. The association thanked me very much for that.
Today he is working on preparations for We wil rock you – the musical which will find a place in Oslo Spektrum.
– It will be the crudest set-up Norway has seen. There will be around 7,000 people per performance, 40 dancers, orchestra, pyro and everything possible.
Put the relationship on hold: – Wanted to spare her
Last but not least, the 51-year-old will also appear as a challenger in this year’s season of “Camp Culinaris”, which premieres on 27 March.
It doesn’t look like Korshamn is going back to the funeral home anytime soon.
