The young musicians Reiks and Henny, who is better known as “Livu” guitarist Henrijs Mucenieks, have presented their new collaboration “Feeling You” to a wider audience.
“This is the story of the secret of love,” Reiki begins.
The origins of the song “Sense of You” can be traced back a year and a half, playing guitar and capturing different moods from the previous night. I wrote something and then went to my friend Mārtiņš Rudzītis (from the group “Neon Saturdays” – author). We’re pretty close friends, we like to play music together, so we recorded a demo, which I really enjoyed. I went to another friend and guitarist Henri Mucenieks, who always performs with me at all concerts, and please try to catch a melody. We put together a few words and a melody sounded – it was actually very fast, ”Reiks recalls. The song was recorded in the “HQ” studio, under the supervision of producer Markas or Mārtiņš Gailītis (“Double Faced Eels”). Dairis Petrauskis, on the other hand, recorded the “live” drums for the song.
Asked about the message of the song, Reiks replies: “There haven’t really been many songs like this in which I don’t want to say anything, I want to ask questions about what I don’t understand. And I know that a lot of people feel like it’s hard to understand their feelings and the meaning of everything. “
