Expansion of opportunities and assortment
REHAU has now expanded its service and logistics center in Wisbech in Lower Saxony: this allows for an even larger stock and improved service. Stock materials are shipped from a fully automated high storage warehouse the same day they are ordered.

We are opening our new logistics center in Wisbech! With its expansion concept, which includes comprehensive automation, digitization of all processes, as well as state-of-the-art transport systems, REHAU has increased its capacity in the product range of finishing tapes and furniture components. “This investment significantly expands our capabilities so that we can support our partners and customers even more effectively from our service center in Wisbech – across Europe, from an interior designer in Lisbon to a carpenter in Helsinki,” says Thomas Ponater, Head of Marketing and Sales for Interior Solutions Europe.
Since the early 1980s, the factory in Wisbech has been the place where REHAU manufactures tapes – initially only for industrial production. When the company started offering trim tapes to carpentry shops 20 years ago, it became possible to obtain the standard range in smaller quantities through dealers. Thus, REHAU gave small manufacturers the opportunity to offer materials of the highest quality and current design. In the following years, the demand grew rapidly, and already in 2007, a warehouse collection service center was established. Now REHAU has made a big investment and increased its capabilities again: new fully automated high storage warehouse – and additionally expands the range of products and available services. Every order for standard stock items is immediately assembled and shipped the same day if possible. Thanks to the digital integration of manufacturing and logistics in one place, faster delivery, more warehouse space and the improvement of the entire production speed, picking and service chain are possible.
Solutions for Europe
Thanks to the optimized processes, the number of truck transports for factory logistics has been significantly reduced. This means a saving of approximately 62.5 tons of CO2 emissions per year.
