Media personality, Reham Saeed, appealed to the Lebanese people to stand with her in the face of the Lebanese plastic surgeon, who claimed that she was disfigured during plastic surgery at his clinic in Beirut.
Saeed said, through her Instagram account: When an Egyptian doctor caused a medical error in a famous media personality, a court in Cairo ruled to punish him with imprisonment, and I appeal to the brotherly Lebanese people to stand with me to obtain my rights from those who distorted my features.
She added: I spent most of my life in Beirut and all my sweet memories are there. The Lebanese people are a hospitable and kind people, and when something bad comes from one of their citizens, it is absolutely not valid to generalize.
She continued: The truth does not go away… Lebanon, through which we learned this, has been steadfast throughout history. I have nothing but the truth, and I hope people in Beirut stand with the truth. The medical error does not have to be a severing of an artery, and something will never come back again, but my right will come back.
She continued: There are people who tell me that you will not know how to take your rights. I only get treatment in Beirut. Lebanese hospitals are large and great and have the largest and greatest plastic surgeons. My future is lost. I will not know how to act again, even if I wanted to appear in front of a camera, I would like 30 filters.
The Egyptian broadcaster revealed the changes that affected her face after the cosmetic procedure performed by the doctor months ago, indicating that it was the first time she appeared on a live broadcast.
She said that she appeared to prove that she had been completely disfigured in her face, and that she would prosecute the doctor.
